Cam started Laser in 2018 as an owner/operator hauling machines behind a minivan to provide a needed service in northern British Columbia as a reliable line painting company. 

Since the start of Laser, the team and the type of work has grown considerably. The addition of asphalt maintenance as well as snow plowing during the winter months has brought the company to new heights. That being said, Cam has taken the ownership role full force with hiring people to overtake the sales, estimator, technician, project manager, and marketing divisions so he can focus on helping those people to grow within the company as well as providing an environment for them the thrive.

When Cam isn't working away he's typically spending all of his time with his three kids.

Robyn

Roberts

Director and Safety  Cooridinator

Robyn has been apart of team Laser since 2018, watching the company grow from a one man operation out of the back of a minivan to seeing new team members work together to build something incredible.

"Family is extremely important and I work hard to ensure that our team knows that family and mental health are important to nurture and take care of. Which is why we have policies and procedures in place to keep everyone in the company safe. I also am comfortable being put to work wherever I am needed. If you need me to do something I will absolutely do it. If I don't have the answer, I will go out and find it and we can learn together. I don't mind saying "I don't know" but that isn't the end of the discussion with me. Because its important to me that I never leave anyone feeling like what they're worried about isn't important. I also have a high standard for customer service."

Besides caring for her family at home and at Laser, Robyn is also a plant lover. In her downtime she's rescuing people's dying plants and reviving them. Mainly because "Cam says no to more animals".

David

Utz

Project Manager

David was a personal trainer pre-covid and as of December 2021 he was hired on at Laser as a shoveler. After working as hard as he did shoveling for Laser he then operated a sand truck, was a field technician, and then was quickly promoted to crew leader. Shortly after, he was moved into the position he sits in now which is project manager.

Since the start David's favorite part of being with team Laser by far has been the team atmosphere.

When David and his golden retriever Finley aren't at work they are usually enjoying a view on the top of a mountain.

Scott

Dobie

Operations Manager

Scott is a brand new edition to team Laser and we couldn't be happier. Scott's favourite part of working at Laser so far has been the team, getting to know everyone, how we operate as a company, and where we need to strive for in the future.

When Scott isn't working he's typically on a motorcycle heading through backroads all across the country and then some. Right before he started working with us at Laser he just got back from a 7-month long trip through the United States and Canada to which you can view his travels on his instagram page @otbp.moto.

With years of experience in all sorts of industries Scott has come to live in the rhetoric "People don't buy what you do, they buy why you do it". Which is one of the many reasons why we are excited to have Scott apart of the team.

SAM

MOORHOUSE

SALES REPRESENTATIVE

Sam is a brand new edition to team Laser as a sales representative with only being here for a week however, he is already all in invested into helping us further the growth of the company.

Sam's favourite part of joining us is immediately becoming part of the family here at Laser. When he isn't selling jobs to clientele around our area or spending time with his wife and two kids, his time is split between playing the guitar, woodworking, and playing video games.

If you were to know thing about Sam, it's that he is a firm believer in doing what you love to do and he throws himself into what he's passionate about.

Brittany

Meyer

Senior Technician

Brittany has been with Laser since November 2022 and has been thriving as a technician.

Brittany's favorite part of working at Laser has been "Painting lines for dayyyyyys" as well being apart of team that's more like a family. "Instead of being an employee that's treated as a number or as someone that's easily replaceable, at Laser you feel like you matter".

Spending all of her time off with her kids is priority. Brittany and her family are either enjoying the water at a lake or a river, on a nice hike, or spending the day at a race track. Brittany is just a hard working mom trying to provide the best life she can for her family.

Liam

Technician

Liam has been with team Laser for a little over a year now. At first he was in an estimator position and has slowly moved over into the technician side of work.

The best part of working at Laser for Liam has been the team. Working not only as a field tech laying down paint lines as well as asphalt maintenance, but also taking care of the shop and the fleet repairs.

When Liam isn't working hard out in the field or wrenching in the shop, he's building computers or gaming on his designs.

Keegan

Technician

Keegan has been a brand new addition to the Laser team with only being here for the past couple of months. That being said he's been crushing it as a new technician.

His favorite part of working as a field tech for Laser has been the fact that there's no ladders, only straight lines all day long.

When Keegan isn't laying down lines in the field he's picking the best line possible on his racing simulator.

Dillon

Technician

Dillon Has been apart of team Laser for the past year and a half and has been crushing it.

Being such a hard worker doing what he can to help coworkers succeed, Dillon's favourite part of working here has been "The team, the job, the company, it's like having an entire new branch of family".

If Dillon isn't laying lines he's typically working on racecars or enjoying time with his family.

Elaine

Nicholl

Bookkeeper

Elaine has been the bookkeeper for Laser since January 2021.

Elaine's favorite part of working side by side with Laser has been the team.

"In all my interactions with the Laser team from Management to Production, everyone is willing to lend a helping hand and work together to achieve what is required".

In Elaine's downtime she's Doing DIY home projects or working on crafts.

Miranda

Administrative Assistant

Miranda has just joined Laser as the administrative assistant and we couldn't be happier to have her here.

The atmosphere among the Laser team has been Miranda's favourite part of working with us so far.

When she's not at work Miranda is either between a good book or spending time with her kids.
